Explosive Ordnance Disposal – Level 1&2

3 weeks

Requirements to Trainees

  1. Medical certificate.
  2. Criminal record.

Format

Course consists from lectures, practical exercises, live demolitions and evaluation tests.

Result

After successfully passing final test student will receive EOD Level 2 Certificate.

The course is designed in accordance with the requirements of International Mine Action Standard (IMAS 09.30).

After successfully completing the course, you will have acquired the requisite knowledge, skills & attitude necessary to perform the duties & tasks of a level 2 EOD operator, including, but not limited to: UXO recognition & identification,  demolition initiation set up and fault finding, disposal of single item on-site. 

Training course takes 3 weeks including:

  • Lectures – 37%
  • Classroom lessons – 19%
  • Practical drills – 35%
  • Tests, exams – 15%
On satisfactory completion of the course, the individual will be able to operate and lead a team for Unexploded Ordnance (UXO), Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) and landmines.
