Explosive Threat Mitigation
HDC International mitigates the risk of explosive threats: it detects and clears unexploded ordnance (UXO), explosive remnants of war (ERW) and land mines. UOS also deploys canine teams for detection and protection purposes, and provides services to support stabilisation and reconstruction including engineering, drilling, logistics and geotechnical services.
UOS clears explosive threats including UXO, landmines & improvised explosive devices (IED): to protect against the threats of harm and commercial loss.

An integral part of UOS’s operations is the delivery of risk education to affected communities in an effort to reduce the risk of death and injury from mines, explosive remnants of war, explosive hazards, improvised explosive devices (IED) and weapons (SALW) raising awareness and promoting safe behaviour.
