UOS has been working in Ukraine since 2002 and participated dozens of programmes, including but not limited to Clearance of consequences of Ammunition depot explosions, Crimea clearance programme, shooting ranges clearance, etc. With the recent development of “Law on Mine Action” the procedures of obtaining necessary permits for operations has changed. In order to align our activities with current legislation in place, UOS has obtained Mine Action operator status in the fields of Non-Technical Survey (NTS), Technical Survey (TS), Battle Area Clearance (BAC), Manual Mine Clearance and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). As well UOS is currently undergoing certification in Explosive ordnance Risk Education (EORE) and in process of receiving mechanical clearance assets and subsequent certification of this mechanical clearance activities.
